Kali Armstrong has made the upcoming title unification between the NXT Women’s North American Title and the WWE Women’s Speed Title now a Triple Threat at Heatwave.
Armstrong faced the current NXT Women’s North American Champion, Zaria, on the Aug. 25 episode of NXT. By defeating her, Armstrong won her spot in the match. The third party being the Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair.
Armstrong won the match by countering an F-5 by Zaria into a pin.
Elsewhere on this week’s NXT, a summit took place between all the champions and challengers for this weekend. The NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey and her challenger at Heatwave, Kelani Jordan exchanged words with Jordan saying she put the target on Grey’s back. And it will just take her one shot to win the title.
