“Every fight comes with a risk. Everybody got the ability to lose and win. It’s some sort of a risk, but skillfully, I feel I’m on a whole other level than Conor Benn,” said Keyshawn to DAZN Boxing.
The comments add another notable name to the list of fighters Keyshawn has recently discussed as he continues searching for his next major opportunity.
Benn has become one of the biggest attractions in British boxing in recent years. The 28-year-old remains linked to several high-profile matchups, including a potential clash with Ryan Garcia, while Devin Haney has also been mentioned as a possible future opponent.
Keyshawn, however, does not believe Benn possesses the tools necessary to trouble him inside the ring.
“Shout out to Conor Benn for being a great guy. He takes care of his family. Boxing world, Conor,” Keyshawn said. “I just feel I destroy him for sure. Easy money, easy win.”
The remarks offered a rare blend of respect and confidence, with Keyshawn praising Benn on a personal level while expressing little doubt about the outcome of a hypothetical meeting.
Keyshawn has consistently projected supreme confidence in his abilities throughout his rise through the professional ranks. His latest comments suggest that confidence extends well beyond the fighters currently occupying the top positions at welterweight.
Benn has built a reputation as an aggressive, crowd-pleasing fighter, compiling a record of 25-1 (16 KOs). Keyshawn, meanwhile, remains unbeaten and has repeatedly stated that he believes he belongs among the elite names in the division.
If a fight between the two ever materializes, Keyshawn appears convinced there would be only one winner.
