Kane reacts to The Undertaker‘s success in his newer wrestling role.
Last year, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker stepped into the role as a coach on WWE LFG. Now, he’s making moves in the creative department for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, the Mexico-based promotion acquired by WWE in 2025.
While appearing on Mostly Sports With Mark Titus and Brandon Walker, The Undertaker’s on-screen brother and fellow Hall of Famer Kane (real name Glenn Jacobs) praised him for his recent work in AAA.
“Man, it’s amazing. I’m so proud of him,” Kane said. “He’s running AAA, which WWE bought, a Mexican promotion. It’s super hot. I think it just shows how talented he is. He was the only person that could have made The Undertaker believable. Anybody else, they could have never pulled that. Well, his ability in wrestling transcends that even. Now he’s booking and running the company. As you said, hottest match of the year. The promotion is super hot. And I’m just really proud of what he’s doing.”
Last weekend, AAA made headlines for its Noche de Los Grandes event, which featured a critically acclaimed Mask vs Mask match between the Original El Grande Americano and El Grande Americano. The latter man emerged victorious, meaning the OG character had to unmask himself. Under it lied former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Chad Gable.
According to The Undertaker, his vision in AAA centers on honoring the Lucha Libre culture, while also maintaining quality production value and storylines.
