The 24-year-old Liddard moved to 15-0 with nine knockouts after adding the European championship to the British, Commonwealth, and IBF Intercontinental belts he previously held.

Morello struggled to land consistently against the quicker champion. Many of his wider punches missed, allowing Liddard to score with straighter combinations before moving out of range. Morello never found a way to slow him down and lost each completed round.

The official result was a retirement after eight rounds. Morello fell to 26-2 with four knockouts.

    Jimmy Sains Defeats Tom Cowling

Jimmy Sains claimed the vacant Commonwealth middleweight title with a 12-round unanimous decision over Tom Cowling.

Sains controlled much of the opening half, although Cowling landed a solid right hand late in the first round and enjoyed his best stretch during rounds six and seven. A sustained attack in the sixth briefly forced Sains onto the defensive.

The southpaw regained control from the eighth and swept most of the remaining rounds with his higher output. Cowling rocked him with another right hand during the final minute, but the late success was not enough to change the result.

The judges scored the contest 119-109, 119-109, and 118-110 for Sains, who raised his record to 13-0 with 10 knockouts. Cowling dropped to 15-2.

Buttigieg And Gordon Fight To Split Draw

Emmanuel Buttigieg and P A Gordon fought to a 10-round split draw, leaving the vacant English middleweight title unclaimed.

Gordon had the stronger start and held the advantage through much of the opening four rounds. Buttigieg increased his output in the fifth and sixth before Gordon answered during a series of closely contested later rounds.

Both men fought aggressively in the tenth with the result still undecided. Gordon bloodied Buttigieg’s nose during an entertaining finish, but the judges were unable to agree on a winner.

One card favored Gordon 97-93, another had Buttigieg ahead 96-94, and the third was level at 95-95. Buttigieg is now 12-0-1, while Gordon moved to 9-0-1.

Tiah Mai Ayton Stops Ellie Hellewell

Tiah Mai Ayton won the vacant Commonwealth featherweight title when Ellie Hellewell retired after the sixth round.

Ayton began separating herself with a combination near the end of the opening round. She continued landing the cleaner punches over the following rounds and hurt Hellewell again late in the fifth.

Hellewell completed the sixth, but her corner ended the contest before round seven. The result was officially recorded as a sixth-round retirement. Ayton advanced to 7-0 with six knockouts.

    Copper Box Undercard Results

Connor Mitchell defeated Caine Singh on points over four rounds in a featherweight bout. Mitchell dropped Singh with a left hand in the opening round, and referee Lewis Van Poetsch scored the contest 39-37. Mitchell moved to 4-0 with two knockouts.

Louie Ward knocked out Jon Martinez at 2:36 of the third round. Ward landed a right-left combination that sent Martinez down for the full count.

Ioan Croft stopped Tomas Andres Reynoso at 1:50 of the sixth round. Croft dropped Reynoso with a left hand in the second before forcing the stoppage with another sustained attack in round six.

Harley Burrows needed only 65 seconds to stop Carlos Miguel Ronner. Burrows overwhelmed Ronner with a series of punches before referee Kieran McCann ended the middleweight contest.

The official results are confirmed by the British Boxing Board of Control.
