In-form British and Commonwealth middleweight champion George Liddard fights for the European title on August 22 against Italy’s Dario Morello.
They will meet at London’s York Hall, Bethnal Green, headlining the Saturday show on a bill that sees 12-0 (4 KOs) middleweight prospect Leli Butigieg take on PA Gordon, Jimmy Sains, 12-0 (10 KOs), faces Tom Cowling, 15-1 (4 KOs), for the Commonwealth middleweight title and Bristol starlet Tiah Mai Ayton boxes Ellie Hellewell.
There are also spots on the card for Welsh talent Ioan Croft, Louie Ward, Pat McCormack, and Connor Mitchell.
The Tony Sims-trained Liddard is 14-0 (8 KOs), and coming off wins over Tyler Denny – in March – and Kieron Conway, late in 2025. He is ranked in the top 15 of each of the major sanctioning bodies.
Morello is 26-1 (4 KOs) and the 33-year-old will be fighting outside of Italy for the first time as a pro.
He last boxed in November, climbing off the floor to outscore Switzerland’s Faton Vukshinaj over 12 rounds.
