The 2026/27 season is just around the corner, and with that in mind, we look to FourFourTwo who predicts the League Two table.

We turn our attention to the fourth tier division, and as always, it causes plenty of reaction and debates on social media with many checking out the bookies odds.

You can order your copy of the FourFourTwo magazine, including the much loved season preview magazine by clicking HERE.

Have a look at who they thought would finish from 24th to 1st below, some will surprise, others not so…

    24) CRAWLEY

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted Crawley Town to finish in 24th place (relegated) for the 2026/27 League Two campaign.

26/27 FFT VERDICT: “Crawley only stayed up on the final day last season and have leadership questions across the board after Kazim-Richards’ surprising appointment. Vito Mannone arrives as player and coach, but it could be a scrap.”

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 15th place for the 2025/26 League Two campaign – instead they finished 22nd.

    23) NEWPORT

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted Newport County to finish in 23rd place (relegated) for the 2026/27 League Two campaign.

26/27 FFT VERDICT: “After circling the drainpipe for the last two years, the decision of manager Christian Fuchs to quit leaves them vulnerable, as does the loss of Matt Baker and Kamwa, even with the popular Cam Norman returning.”

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 23rd place for the 2025/26 League Two campaign – instead they finished 20th.

    22) ACCRINGTON

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted Accrington Stanley to finish in 22nd place for the 2026/27 League Two campaign.

26/27 FFT VERDICT: “Stanley have a higher hit rate with loans than permanent signings, which makes it harder to sustain overachievement on a low budget. As well as Doolan did to reach mid-table last year, things won’t get any easier.”

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 24th place for the 2025/26 League Two campaign – instead they finished 16th.

    21) TRANMERE

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted Tranmere Rovers to finish in 21st place for the 2026/27 League Two campaign.

26/27 FFT VERDICT: “Having continuously dropped down the pyramid this decade, Tranmere look in pre-takeover limbo. Darrell Clarke can thrive with a group of players who share his mentality, if he can assemble that at Prenton Park.”

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 19th place for the 2025/26 League Two campaign – instead they finished 21st.

    20) SHREWSBURY

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted Shrewsbury Town to finish in 20th place for the 2026/27 League Two campaign.

26/27 FFT VERDICT: “An experienced defence, solid midfield and flying wing-backs is the template for Shrewsbury to punch beyond their budget. It should be enough for survival but progress could be limited until bigger changes occur.”

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 20th place for the 2025/26 League Two campaign – instead they finished 19th.

    19) EXETER

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted Exeter City to finish in 19th place for the 2026/27 League Two campaign.

26/27 FFT VERDICT: “If the Grecians come out of the season with a squad increased in value, a money-spinning cup run and EFL status intact, it’s a success. This is an enormous rebuild that’ll take time, even with the right people in charge.”

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 21st place for the 2025/26 League One campaign – and that is exactly where they ended up.

    18) FLEETWOOD

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted Fleetwood Town to finish in 18th place for the 2026/27 League Two campaign.

26/27 FFT VERDICT: “After successive bottom-half finishes on a modest budget, Fleetwood need to reset their expectations under Lawlor. Helm, Elliot Bonds and Harrison Neal are a top-seven midfield, but the spine needs upgrading.”

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 6th place for the 2025/26 League Two campaign – instead they finished 15th.

    17) GILLINGHAM

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted Gillingham to finish in 17th place for the 2026/27 League Two campaign.

26/27 FFT VERDICT: “It’s been three years of chronic underachievement ever since Galinson took over. So far the recruitment looks decent – Will Goodwin is the type of striker Ainsworth could get a tune out of – yet positivity feels limited.”

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 4th place for the 2025/26 League Two campaign – instead they finished 17th.
