Mandy Rose has opened the door to a possible return to professional wrestling after nearly four years away. The former WWE NXT Women’s Champion says she’d listen if a major promotion comes calling, but any comeback would involve a very different version of herself.
Speaking on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Rose said she remains grateful for her WWE run and doesn’t hold bitterness over how it ended. She also emphasized that her life has changed considerably since leaving the company.
“The big question people ask is, ‘Will you ever go back?’ I always just say, ‘Never say never,’” Rose said. She added, “I’m never bitter. I’m never upset about what had happened and what had gone down and the whole situation because I just look at it like I love my life right now.”
Rose also credited WWE with helping her build the audience and independence she has today. “I don’t like to even talk bad about it or bad about them because I’m super grateful for everything that the company gave me,” she said.
Mandy Rose open to WWE, AEW and TNA opportunities
When asked about a potential opportunity from AEW, Rose made it clear that she wouldn’t limit her options. “I would take any call, whether it was AEW, WWE, TNA. It doesn’t matter where it’s from,” she said.
However, Rose stressed that a future wrestling role would be built around who she is today, rather than revisiting her previous run. “What would be different would be the conversation I have with whichever company it would be because it would be about the Mandy Rose today, and it wouldn’t be about the Mandy Rose five years ago.”
An in-ring return isn’t the only possibility. Rose said she’d also consider working as a manager, while leaving the door open to wrestling again.
“I wouldn’t be opposed to maybe getting back in the ring one day,” she said. “I’m still young. I still take care of myself really well. And that’s why I always say, never say never.”
Rose last wrestled on Dec. 13, 2022, losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez. WWE released her the following day after a 413-day title reign.
Rose and Tino Sabbatelli welcomed their first child on July 31, adding another chapter to a life that has changed considerably since her WWE departure.
