William Hill’s latest odds suggest England are more likely than not to reach their first World Cup Final since 1966 ahead of their semi-final clash with Argentina.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are 8/11 to qualify for the final, giving the Three Lions the edge over Argentina, who are priced at EVS to progress.
Despite England heading the betting, Argentina have attracted the greater share of support in the ‘To Qualify’ market, with more punters backing Lionel Scaloni’s side to book their place in the final.

William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “With the Three Lions reaching yet another semi-final, they’ve got to clear their biggest hurdle yet, in Argentina. However, we make it more likely than not that England book their place in a first World Cup final in 60 years with Thomas Tuchel’s side 8/11 to reach the final.
“Argentina are proving the more popular side in the betting though, with the evens about the South American side to win the tie taking more bets than England.”
