    In this article, we check out the EFL Championship Outright Title Winner, Promotion and Relegation odds for the 2026/27 season.

    Preparations for the new campaign are well underway, just weeks to go until it begins, clubs have moved on from released and retained lists, and the transfer window is open, looking at which areas of the squad needs strengthening.

    We can also expect plenty of changes this summer, having already seen a number of managers saying farewell and looking for new ventures.

    Lincoln City, Cardiff City and Bolton Wanderers were promoted from League One, replacing Oxford United, Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday who were relegated to the third tier.

    Coventry City, Ipswich Town, Hull City were promoted to the top flight, while West Ham United, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers were relegated from the Premier League.

    The 2026/27 EFL Championship, which is in its 11th season of being sponsored by Sky Bet, and the 35th in its current format, will runs from the 14th of August 2026, to May 2027.

    It is the first season that we will see an expansion to the post season play-offs from four teams to six.

    Play-off Winners- QPR hopefully 🙏 / Wrexham or Southampton

    @PippyJones13:
    West Ham
    Sheffield United
    Wrexham
    Hopefully Spyhampton get relegated

    @knight37: @Pompey champions 😉 Mr Eisner talking of Premier league 🤣🤣 My predictions West Ham and Wolves promoted and Wrexham in play offs

    @owencafc1417:
    Champions Burnley
    Runners up Middlesbrough
    Play off winners West Ham

    @busdrivingfraud: Champions Derby. Runners up Wrexham. Play off final between Millwall and West Ham descends into chaos making this years playoffs seem normal meaning 8th placed Lincoln are automatically promoted instead. Wolves, top most of the season, collapse with 8 games to go to 9th on GD.

    @stellytalks:
    👑 Champions: West Ham
    🥈 Runners-Up: Birmingham City
    🏆 Play-Off Winners: Southampton

    @lennythfc: Leicester fans seeing this a year ago thinking they went straight back up

    @BowersMbsafc:
    West Ham
    Wolves
    Norwich
    Burnley & Southampton both should be right up there and if either went up it wouldn’t be a surprise but Norwich give me seriously good vibes at the moment.

    @JakeCOYI: @skybet can I request a bet for West Ham to do the invincible?

    @NCFC_Adam: Proper championship lineup that. Gonna be really tough to determine 3 clear favourites for promotion/relegation

    @keevs_89: It’s crazy how many are backing us next season. Who’d have thought it? 🤯. A tougher division than the season just gone in my opinion. Brum and Sheffield Utd will be better, as well as few other surprises. Let’s see what the window says before any predictions 🙏 #WxmAFC

    @Wolves_OD: Ngl this championship lineup looks unreal. Can’t wait for next season! 🤌 Looking forward to seeing what kind of team we have as well. #wwfc #wolves

    @kierannkater98:
    Champions: Southampton
    Runners up: west ham
    Play off winners: wolves
    👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

    @JackMcM55:
    Champions: West Ham United
    Runners-Up: Wolves
    Play-Off Winners: Southampton
    #EFL #SkyBetChampionship

    @TheEightball80: We bottled our chance of getting out of the weakest Championship in years. Looking at this for next season, I say our chances of finishing in the top eight are minimal. Another decade stuck in the second tier awaits. 🙄 #boro

    @JPC_1875:
    👑 Champions: West Ham
    🥈 Runners-Up: Birmingham City
    🏆 Play-Off Winners: Norwich City

    @Georgeturnerutb: I think out of the 3 relegated sides Burnley for me are the most likely to go up as champions. West Ham and wolves will find it a lot harder than their fans expect.

    @JakePrice1927:
    Champions: Wolves
    Runners up: Norwich
    Play Offs: West Ham (POW), Burnley, Southampton, Middlesbrough, Millwall, Wrexham.
