If you have been a long time wrestling fan, when you think of singer and celebrity Cyndi Lauper you think of her time with then-WWF. Lauper, now 72 years young, is known for her time alongside former WWF Women’s Champion – Wendi Richter.

Following the news that at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con, a WWE/Mattel exclusive action figure of the Girls Just Want to Have Fun music icon will be showcased, WrestleVotes on Fightful Select inquired about the relationship between Lauper and WWE.

WrestleVotes were told the collaboration has strengthened considerably between the two parties. One source went on to note that it opens the WWE Hall of Fame door wider than ever. They were also told to “probably not expect” Lauper to be inducted during WrestleMania 43 week in Saudi Arabia.

The relationship between Cyndi Lauper and WWE has strengthened, with a WWE Hall of Fame induction being more likely than ever.

However, @WrestleVotes Radio on @FightfulSelect has learned that it won’t likely be happening in 2027.
