Oxford Downs Cricket Club will screen the Britain’s Got Talent final in support of Hawkstone Farmers Choir members appearing on the show.
The Standlake club is hosting a public watch party on Saturday, May 30, from 6pm, to back local farmers James Florey and Abbie Conlon, who are part of the choir and have reached the ITV final.
Mr Florey, from Northmoor, is also the club’s head of girls and women’s cricket, while Ms Conlon is from Witney.
The club said the choir’s message of mental health awareness within farming communities deserves wider local recognition and support.
Following an emotional semi-final, the club expects another strong turnout.
Supporters can enjoy pies for sale and a full bar, with the final screened live.
The club hopes to create a friendly, communal atmosphere for family, friends, neighbours, and farming supporters.
Media are invited to capture the evening of local friends, families, farmers and supporters coming together to back James, Abbie and the Hawkstone Farmers Choir on the national stage.
Oxford Downs Cricket Club is located in Standlake.
