Colorado football’s latest recruiting win may already be creating another opportunity. Four-star wide receiver Jaiden Kelly-Murray, who committed to the Buffaloes on Memorial Day, has started drawing attention to another target in three-star Texas receiver Brody Knowles.
Kelly-Murray named Knowles as a player he would like to team up with in Boulder, and that alone has turned heads among Colorado fans. Knowles is a big-bodied receiver at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, and he ranks as one of the more intriguing wideouts in the 2027 class. Colorado offered him on April 22, and the Buffs have stayed involved ever since.
Knowles fits what Colorado wants at receiver. He has size, separation ability and strong ball skills, which would make him a natural complement to Kelly-Murray in Brennan Marion’s offense. If the Buffs could add Knowles, they would have two very different but highly valuable wide receivers for the future.
The challenge is that the competition is real with Illinois, TCU, South Carolina, Arkansas and Kentucky all in the mix. Texas programs won’t make it easy either. Still, Colorado’s recent surge in recruiting gives Sanders another selling point that the Buffs are building something fast, and recruits are taking notice.
