Liverpool are having big summer changes much like Chelsea, and the two clubs could both be competing for Real Madrid’s cash.

With the World Cup about to kick off, things could go pretty quite on the transfer front for those players involved.
French insider Santi Aouna has popped up today to remind us that Real Madrid remain interested by Enzo Fernandez. The midfielder has “always been attracted by Real Madrid” and their interest is “not ruled out.” However, given Chelsea will want big, big money, it still looks like a long shot to us.

However, that talk is balanced out by the other piece of news from Aouna this morning – that Madrid remain big fans of Enzo’s Argentina teammate Alexis MacAllister. While they’re not the exact same profile, we can’t see Madrid moving for both.
And given the Liverpool star would likely be a lot cheaper, they might just go for him instead. It will be very interesting to see how this develops. We suspect Chelsea would like to cut their losses on Enzo, and so this isn’t great news for them.

A move for Marc Cucurella this summer still seems likely – but Chelsea may have to wait for events in Spain to develop before they start getting any bids.
