Canadian wrestling veteran Eddie Osbourne has passed away at the age of 43.
Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling announced the news on X/Twitter, writing, ” MAPLE LEAF PRO joins the entire Canadian wrestling community in mourning the loss of Eddie Osbourne. A veteran inside the ring, trainer, and a longtime promoter, MLP sends our condolences to his family, friends, and fans.”
Eddie Osbourne made his in-ring debut in 2001 and spent the next 25 years competing across the Canadian independent circuit. He also worked under the ring names Cousin Eddie and Mike Becherer. The cause of his death has not been publicly disclosed yet.
Eddie Osbourne Wrestled Days Before His Passing
Eddie Osbourne remained an active in-ring performer until his death. He last competed at a 365 Pro Wrestling event on September 26, 2026. Teamed with Parker Langdon to challenge Johnny Rostyn and Sawyer Stein for the 365 Tag Team Championship.
He has won numerous championships throughout his career, including the 365 Global and Grand Titles.
Besides in-ring competition, he was a highly respected mentor and coach who helped train the next generation of Canadian wrestlers. He founded and operated 365 Pro Wrestling in 2005, bringing events across British Columbia and Ontario.
Eddie Osbourne’s death came as another blow to the pro wrestling industry after the recent passing of Andy “The Butcher” Williams and Benjamin “PAC” Satterley.
