Blake Monroe continues to tease her targets on WWE SmackDown even though she hasn’t wrestled an official match on the brand yet. On the June 5 episode of SmackDown, Monroe appeared in another vignette, and this time she set her sights on the Women’s United States title and its holder, Tiffany Stratton.
In the segment, Monroe praised Stratton’s success in WWE but also made it clear that she sees herself as the next big star on SmackDown.
Blake Monroe hints at pursuing Tiffany Stratton’s championship
Monroe started by complimenting Stratton and comparing their careers.
“Dear diary, ok we have to talk about it. Tiffany Stratton. You are quite the star. Your rise to the top was very impressive. Looking at you is like looking in a mirror, which I do love to do,” she said.
Monroe soon changed her tone. She suggested that Stratton may not be ready for what’s coming and claimed there is a big difference between them. She then teased a future showdown between the two.
“When we finally meet, it will be the box office event that fans are dying to see. But the difference between you and I is if you scratch just a little bit beneath the surface you’ll see a princess like you isn’t used to getting her hands dirty,” Monroe said.
She finished the promo with a direct warning for the champion.
“No. Tiffy Time is about to run on Monroe minutes. So run whilst you can because The Glamour is coming to SmackDown. Yours truly, Blake Monroe.”
The message made it clear that Monroe has her eyes on Stratton and potentially her championship as well.
However, last week, Monroe appeared in another vignette where she spoke about several women on the roster before turning her attention to Rhea Ripley.
