William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews Thursday’s UEFA Europa League Qualification game between Benfica and Hearts.

Our Prediction: Benfica To Win & 4+ Match Goals (17/20), Benfica 4-0 Hearts (15/2)

The Estádio da Luz in Lisbon awaits, as Benfica take on Scottish side Hearts, with both sides looking for a first leg advantage in this UEFA Europa League qualification fixture.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Europa League odds and betting angles for Thursday’s fixture:

    Benfica v Hearts – Thursday, 8pm

View all available markets at William Hill

    • Despite losing the first leg against Swiss side St Gallen, Benfica made no mistakes in the return leg last week with a 5-0 victory on home soil to set up this clash with Hearts, with the winner over two legs securing a spot in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League.
    • Benfica managed to go through their domestic campaign unbeaten last season under Jose Mourinho yet still finished eight points behind Porto, former Fulham boss Marco Silva is now the man in charge of the Eagles.
    • William Hill make Benfica the huge betting favourites in this one at 1/9 and it’s quite easy to see why the Eagles are odds-on, given they’ve not lost at home since February, they’ll be looking to all but confirm their spot in the league phase here ahead of their trip to Edinburgh in the return leg.

    • Following a brilliant season for Hearts last season, despite missing out on the title on the final day, it’s been a really tough start to their new campaign, with Derek McInnes, Lawrence Shankland and Cammy Devlin all joining Rangers, it would always be difficult.
    • Wouter Vrancken is the man in charge of the Jambos and he’s still looking for his first competitive victory, he’s now lost all three of his competitive games so far, including their UCL games against Sturm Graz and their Premiership opener against Aberdeen at the weekend, not ideal.
    • Given that poor start to the campaign, it’s difficult to make a case for Hearts in this one, they’ll just be hoping to keep themselves in the game and give them a chance in front of their own fans in Edinburgh, punters can back Hearts to pull off the upset in Lisbon at 16/1 with William Hill.

    11. In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
    12. In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
    13. Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
