It’s that time again, the BBC announce which 26/27 FA Cup Second Qualifying Round tie they will televise, and we’re looking forward to it.The early rounds of the FA Cup qualifiers have been streamed on the BBC since 2017, which has not only put non league clubs on the map, but also earned them a welcome financial boost for being on the telly.A game from every stage is be live-streamed across BBC Sport’s digital platforms, allowing audiences to watch the game live on PC, mobile or connected TV. FA STATEMENT:
BBC Sport has selected the Emirates FA Cup second round qualifying tie between Redcar Town and Darlington for live broadcast coverage.The match will be shown live on BBC iPlayer, Red Button, BBC Football’s YouTube channel, and the BBC Sport website, and kick-off will be at 12:30pm on Saturday 19 September.Redcar Town, competing in the FA Cup for the first time in their history, have enjoyed victories against Newcastle Benfield, Bridlington Town and Blyth Spartans to reach the second round qualifying. They will now welcome National League North side Darlington, who enter the competition at this stage, to the Mo Mowlam Memorial Park.Steve Rudge, BBC Sport’s head of football, said: “We are delighted that audiences will be able to share in the passion of the FA Cup from the opening stage of the competition.
