After winning the race to sign Harry Wilson, Leeds United are looking to pick up where they left off in the transfer window by welcoming further reinforcements.

The Yorkshire club ended the trend of instant relegation for newly promoted sides last season and are now hoping to avoid a serious case of second-season syndrome.

With that in mind, the opportunity to sign Barcelona’s Roony Bardghji certainly comes at a good time.

    Football FanCast’s Verdict

    Credibility

The arrival of Karim Adeyemi is set to push Bardghji out the door at Barcelona and his representatives have contacted suitors as a result. That includes Leeds, who could land a statement deal for Daniel Farke in the form of one of Europe’s most talented young players.

    Finances

Given that Barcelona are pushing Bardghji towards the exit door, they may be in the mood to accept a cut-price or perhaps even a loan deal this summer. The Catalan giants only signed the young star for £2m last year, so are bound to at least make some profit.

    Insight

Bardghji has faced the ruthless reality of life at the top over the last 12 months. He’s shown plenty of glimpses of what he could offer Barcelona, but it’s not been enough. Alas, the 20-year-old is still immensely talented and could quickly become the biggest regret as far as those at the Nou Camp are concerned.

    Impact

It would be some statement from Leeds and could take up a lot of their budget. Whether they would return to the market much more after Bardghji would be the big question.

Premier League clubs are on high alert and Bardghji is looking for his next club, forming one of the most interesting transfer battles of the summer.

Leeds in talks to sign Roony Bardghji

According to TeamTalk, Leeds are now in talks to sign Bardghji are receiving contact from his representatives. Barcelona have green-lit the winger’s departure and have already signed a replacement in the form of Karim Adeyemi.

The Catalan giants are now pushing the Swede towards the exit door in a major boost for those at Elland Road. With plenty of competition from inside the Premier League, however, the Yorkshire club must turn their talks into an offer as soon as possible if they want to sign Bardghji.

Leeds should go all out to sign “incredible” Bardghji

The opportunity to sign one of the best young talents doesn’t come around very often. For Leeds, though, it has landed right at their feet. Now, they should take full advantage.

Dubbed “incredible” by scout Antonio Mango, Bardghji was involved in two goals in seven starts at Barcelona last season and desperately needs a move away to reach his full potential.

It’s worth noting that in his final full season at Copenhagen, the 20-year-old was the star of the show and scored 11 goals in all competitions. His potential has always been clear for all to see.

    Fulham-Harry-Wilson

Leeds could see £26m bid accepted to seal a better signing than Wilson

Leeds United are interested in signing a star who would be an even better addition to the squad than Harry Wilson.
