Liv Morgan won the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania this year after earning the spot against Stephanie Vaquer by winning the Royal Rumble. Since her win at WrestleMania on April 18, Morgan has not defended the title and she has only had one match, on April 20 against Sol Ruca.

Morgan has been on TV since, but is utilized as the manager of Judgment Day while she was left off of the Clash in Italy premium live event. They had her appear on the pre show and also the post show where she learned she was part of the Queen of the Ring tournament. Fans have been commenting online on how Morgan is not being presented as a champion.

According to a new report by SelfMadePW, the current plans for Morgan involve Stephanie Vaquer. Vaquer has been out with an injury since her match with Morgan at WrestleMania and also was taken out by the Judgment Day on the April 20 episode of Raw. There have been prior reports that Vaquer is ready to return, but that return has yet to occur.

Morgan’s inclusion in the QOTR tournament is largely to keep her featured until WWE can move forward with the storyline with Vaquer. She will have her first round match next Monday against Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Chelsea Green.
