Alice Crowley discusses being selected for the opportunity.
Fightful’s Luis Pulido conducted an interview with Alice Crowley. They dove into her being added to the 2026 CMLL Women’s Grand Prix field.
Crowley talked about Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling owner Scott D’Amore suggesting her for the opportunity.
“I can’t even put into words, you know; it’s the same thing. I just, I can’t believe Scott picked me out of everyone else on the roster honestly, and it’s not because I think that I don’t work hard enough for it, but it’s just because our roster is made up of such talented women and so many women, who have been all over the country already, and just think that a position like this would be given to somebody of a higher ranking but I think Scott is the type of person to give everybody a chance and I think he sees something in me that I see in myself and we’re gonna show it to the world here in Mexico.”
Crowley was added to the Women’s Grand Prix field after Taylor Rising departed Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.
