AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster Results (6/10/2026): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with commentary welcoming us.

Tony Schiavone then introduces Tommaso Ciampa and Ciampa makes his way down to the ring. Ciampa grabs a mic and he forces Schiavone to state that he is better than Chris Jericho back at Collision. Schiavone then starts to talk about what happened two weeks ago, but Ciampa cuts him off telling everyone once again that he is better than Chris Jericho. Schiavone then starts to refuse, but is threatened by Ciampa that he’ll break his back if he doesn’t. Schiavone then starts to repeat what he stated on Saturday, but Jericho makes his way down to the ring to make the save. Ciampa is having none of this and he yells to cut Jericho’s music as the crowd sings along with his theme. Ciampa then asks if everyone is happy to get the song and dance done, stating that Jericho is finally here in the flesh.

Ciampa then asks Jericho what do you have to say for yourself. Jericho then grabs a mic and says he wants to know who he needs to talk to about fighting someone that actually has hair. The crowd’s “bald” chant is then cut off by Ciampa before Jericho apologizes and offers to start again. Jericho then introduces himself, but Ciampa says he knows who he is before referring to himself as the man who laid Jericho out a couple weeks ago. Jericho then says hello to “Tommy,” which doesn’t go over well as Ciampa says nobody calls him Tommy, not even his own mother. Jericho then replies to this by talking about “Tommy’s mommy” before running him down with a series of insults while running down the reasons Ciampa hates him so much.

Ciampa then talks about Jericho joking around too much, but Jericho insists he doesn’t think it’s all that funny. He then talks about what Ciampa did to him and how he needs to get the stick out of his a**. This then riles Ciampa up before the two come to blows, but security comes down to break it up. They then bring Jericho away from the ring but he gets past them, charging at Ciampa to get some more shots in. Officials then finally manage to defuse the situation.

Commentary then turns their attention to what’s coming up later tonight, including the recent development that Maya World is filling in for an injured Sareee to take on Skye Blue later tonight.

We then see Don Callis and Kevin Knight interacting. Andrade El Idolo then confronts them and asks Don Callis who he is with because he has been calling for a World Title Match for a while now. Don Callis then promises Andrade a title shot as he leaves with Kevin Knight.

Jon Moxley then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night from outside the venue as he gets ready to defend his Continental Championship. Shane Taylor then makes his way down to the ring alongside the rest of STP and the referee reminds them to leave ringside per the rules before getting this match underway.

AEW Continental Championship Match: The Death Riders’ Jon Moxley (c) vs. Shane Taylor Promotions’ Shane Taylor

The match starts off with both men locking up. Shane Taylor then goes to work on Jon Moxley, bringing him to the ropes before the referee calls for a break. Taylor then takes Moxley to the corner now, yielding a similar result before Moxley hits some body shots to send Taylor back. Moxley then heads to the ropes, luring Taylor into a trap by sending him to the outside and he knocks Taylor off the apron with a dropkick before sending him to the floor with a dive. Taylor then gets back into it, hitting some shots on Moxley as the two take their fight to the timekeeper’s area where Taylor drops Moxley through a table.

Taylor then hits a leg drop to Moxley as he is trapped in the ring apron face first. He then hits a splash on Moxley in the corner when both men return inside the ring. He then hits a clothesline on Moxley in the corner. Moxley then delivers some right hands and chops on Taylor and he follows it up with a clothesline on him in the corner and some right hands on Taylor in the corner. He then rakes Taylor’s eyes and spine, but Taylor hits a splash to Moxley off the middle rope and goes for a pin and Moxley kicks out.

Taylor then applies a modified Cobra Clutch to Moxley, but Moxley powers up to his feet and escapes the hold. Moxley and Taylor then continue to exchange right hands with one another, but Moxley cinches in an armbar on Taylor. He then hits a Curb Stomp on Taylor and cinches in the Bull Dog Choke on him and Taylor taps out.

The winner and still the AEW Continental Champion, The Death Riders’ Jon Moxley!

After the match, Taylor nails Moxley. Carlie Bravo then hands Taylor a belt and Taylor lashes Moxley with it. Daniel Garcia then runs out to the ringside area, but Capt. Shawn Dean provides Bravo with some back-up. Marina Shafir then looks to get involved, but Trish Adora cracks a kendo stick across her spine. Taylor then hits another Frog Splash to Moxley off the middle rope.

Mercedes Moné then cuts a promo in a vignette about sitting on the sidelines for six months only to see the women’s division wasting opportunities away. Moné then vows to change that by winning the Owen Hart Foundation tournament.

Don Callis and Kevin Knight then make their way down to the ring to boos from the crowd. Callis then introduces the newest member of the Family in Kevin Knight, who thanks him for making him feel so welcome in a weird city like Cincinnati, Ohio. He then runs down “Speedball” Mike Bailey before talking about being the face of TNT as the crowd chants “f–k Don Callis.” Knight then gets a laugh at this before talking about Callis considering him the number one asset and recruiting him with a big signing bonus. Knight then calls out MJF to get out here as he looks to become Jet 2 Belts, but out comes Darby Allin instead, who blindsides Knight with a skateboard to the back.

He then takes the microphone, saying he hopes New York was worth it before looking to do more damage only to retreat as the rest of the Don Callis Family comes running out.

Commentary then talks about what just happened before looking ahead to our other matches tonight, including PAC taking on Mark Briscoe up next.

We then see Tony Khan backstage hyping up Mark Briscoe. Khan tells Briscoe “You’re the man!” in a huge endorsement.

Mark Briscoe then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and PAC follows.

Singles Match: The Death Riders’ “The Bastard” PAC vs. The Conglomeration’s Mark Briscoe

The match starts off with both men locking up. Both men then trade offense back and forth, with Briscoe taking control before PAC turns things around. PAC then gets sent to the canvas but bounces back up, sending Briscoe to the ropes but to no avail. They then shove each other before Briscoe is sent to the corner, where he fires back with some chops before sending PAC to the outside for a low dropkick. He then leaves the ring for a body slam on PAC before going back on the apron for a Cactus Jack elbow. Briscoe then continues the attack, bringing PAC to a nearby chair but PAC dodges a charge from Briscoe at the last second, forcing Briscoe to collide with it.

Briscoe then places PAC on the top rope and delivers some chops on him. He then sends PAC crashing into the mat with a Brainbuster and both men exchange strikes with one another before PAC hits a German suplex to Briscoe and looks to follow it up with a suplex. Briscoe then lands on his feet and intercepts PAC with a big boot as PAC charges at him, but both men are sent crashing out of the ring over the top rope when Briscoe hits a suplex to PAC.

Briscoe then hits a neckbreaker to PAC off the ring apron and sends him back inside, then goes for a pin but PAC kicks out at the last second. Briscoe then climbs to the top rope and looks to hit a Froggy Bow on PAC, but PAC gets his knees up and hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Briscoe. He then climbs back up to the top rope and looks to hit a Shooting Star Press on Briscoe, but Briscoe avoids it and hits a J-Driller to PAC for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, The Conglomeration’s Mark Briscoe!

After the match, Briscoe grabs a microphone and calls out MJF. Briscoe says he has a direct path to getting an AEW World Championship Match and calls MJF to the ring to explain to him what he means by that. MJF’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring.

We then hear from MJF, who comes through the crowd toward the ring and he insists we are on the champ’s time. MJF says no one is above or more important than him and the final word on Briscoe getting a title shot is no. MJF then says they say a rising tide raises all ships and whether people like it or not he is the rising tide of this company. MJF then says these people should be thanking him for protecting the title from guys like Mark Briscoe. Briscoe then brags about being with the Conglomeration but friends mean nothing, claiming that money talks. We then get a twist of the Lethal variety as we find out what this means, with Jay Lethal and his proteges Blake Christian and Lee Johnson blindsiding Briscoe. Briscoe then starts to fight back, but a Jay Driller is blocked before Lethal Twist get back into it.

MJF then says your boy Briscoe sucks before The Conglomeration run down for the save. Briscoe then gets a mic of his own, pointing out that MJF is not the boss of AEW and he is just an a–hole. Briscoe then says he’s gonna need to find some friends or someone he can pay off because he came to terms with Tony Khan on a main event match for Forbidden Door. Briscoe then says he and five of his buddies will face MJF and five of his, six on six and if Briscoe’s team wins he earns a guaranteed title shot and, like the sicko he is, Khan said that match will take place inside a steel cage.

MJF is beside himself, yelling that it ain’t gonna happen as Andrade El Idolo makes his entrance for the next match of the night. Don Callis can be heard sneaking his way onto commentary as Andrade stares MJF down on the stage before heading to the ring, with The Conglomeration heading out as we get this match underway.

Singles Match: AEW World Trios Champion “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy vs. Don Callis Family’s Andrade El Ídolo

The match starts off with both men locking up. Cassidy then breaks free of a hold from Andrade who keeps Cassidy from putting his hands in his pockets. Cassidy then responds by zipping up the pockets of Andrade’s tights, but Andrade is having none of it as he immediately heads to the corner to take those off for the crowd to enjoy the trunks underneath. Andrade then goes on to dare Cassidy to put his hands in his pockets this time, but Cassidy surprises him and the crowd by tearing away his own jeans to reveal a pair of jeans underneath. This then seems to infuriate Andrade as Cassidy starts to put his hands in his pockets, only to be driven to the corner. He then starts to fight back, but is sent out of the ring.

Cassidy then fights back from the apron, sending Andrade into the turnbuckle to gain some breathing room. He then leaps off the turnbuckle for some more damage, but Andrade quickly fights back for some vertical suplexes. A third amigo is then countered into a Stundog Millionaire by Cassidy, who uses the ropes to get back to his feet. Andrade is now on the outside as Cassidy goes for a dive, only to be caught for a third suplex by Andrade. Andrade then takes a moment for a selfie with a fan, but this gives Cassidy the opening to get back in the ring for a dive onto Andrade. Cassidy then turns his attention to the fan at ringside, who is creeped out by Lio Rush as he takes the phone for a selfie of his own. This then allows Andrade to take Cassidy out before Rush calls him over, saying “he knows.”

Andrade then asks him how he knows and this goes back and forth with an occasional “it’s fine” from Rush before Cassidy goes after Andrade. This then brings the fight back into the ring, where Andrade takes control sending Cassidy into the corner for a running Meteora and a two count. He then brings Cassidy back to the center, but Cassidy counters for a near fall of his own before hitting a right hand that knocks him down. The referee then begins a count as both men slowly get to their feet, trading strikes with Cassidy initially hitting weak shots per usual only to surprise Andrade with a thrust kick. The action then spills to the ropes, where Cassidy takes him over to the elevated ramp before planting Andrade with a DDT. He then brings Andrade back into the ring for another DDT and the cover, but Andrade kicks out at two.

Cassidy is back on his feet, taking off his elbow pad for an Orange Punch but Andrade charges at him with a Dia de los Muertos. He then follows up with the DM for the cover and the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, Don Callis Family’s Andrade El Ídolo!

After the match, Andrade is presented with his IWGP Global Championship and a microphone after the match and he has one question for the crowd and that is how do they know. Andrade and Callis then celebrate.

We then get a video from last week, where will Ospreay addresses advancing to the Owen Hart finals after beating Mark Davis. He then admits to owing something to the Death Riders for his success, but is interrupted as Alex Windsor rushes in to embrace her husband. Ospreay then assures her everything is fine, shoving the camera to turn us away from the moment before commentary hypes up the matches still to come.

We then get a vignette focused on Thekla’s issues with the Stardom promotion over the past year or so heading into Forbidden Door. She then promises to close the door for good and declares “death to Stardom.”

We then head to the back, where Jon Moxley tells Shane Taylor he could have just walked away after their match tonight. Moxley then steps away, still struggling as Marina Shafir tells Trish Adora all the weapons she brings won’t be enough. Daniel Garcia then says he likes the sound of all that before issuing the challenge to STP for a five on five street fight at Collision before saying Shane’s group is following him straight to Hell.

Skye Blue then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night as we hear from Triangle of Madness in an inset promo. Maya World then makes her way down to the ring next as we hear about her younger brother passing earlier today, a tragedy she looks to fight through as she enters the ring to get this match underway.

Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Quarterfinal Match: Triangle of Madness’ Skye Blue vs. Maya World

The match starts off with Skye Blue getting the advantage early on, shoving Maya World away with her boot before hitting some hard strikes for a near fall. World then starts to fight back before being sent to the ropes by Blue, knocking Blue back from the corner and forcing her to take a breather on the ramp. Blue then intercepts World on the ropes, hitting a DDT to send World crashing into the ramp. Blue is now in control of World. Blue then hits a hard kick on World for a near fall. She then sends World to the ropes, only for World to counter to send Blue to the mat for a double stomp. She then blocks a suplex from World before hitting a rising knee strike, but World answers with a bridging German suplex for a two count.

She then climbs the turnbuckle, but is intercepted by Blue who hits a thrust kick and a high angle Liger bomb for a near fall of her own. World then manages to block a rising knee and she hits another bridging suplex to keep Blue down for two. World then hits a rising knee strike, but it only gets her another near fall as Blue kicks out. Both women are back on their feet now, trading strikes in the middle of the ring. World then hits a rolling elbow and Blue hits a thrust kick as it all comes to a head with an enziguiri and release German suplex by World, only for Blue to land on her feet to hit a running knee strike.

Both women are down as the referee checks on them. Blue then brings World to her feet and hits the ropes, but World dodges for a roll up and a two. Blue then fights back with a couple of thrust kicks, hoisting World up for a TKO and the cover but World kicks out. World then dodges a Code Blue and rolls Blue up with a jackknife cover for a surprise three count to pick up the win.

The winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Quarterfinal Match, Maya World!

After the match, big pop for World who celebrates out of the ring as we see an angry Skye Blue getting over what just happened.

We then get a vignette featuring New Japan’s Zack Sabre Jr., who addresses his recent match against Nigel McGuinness before calling out Kenny Omega. He says he wants to know if Kenny is still the best out there and Forbidden Door could be the platform to answer that question.

We then get a peek at Swerve Strickland and Brody King as they get ready for their match, coming up next in the main event.

We then see MJF approach the Don Callis family for five members for the Forbidden Door main event steel cage match. Don Callis then laughs it off, but MJF presents a briefcase with a lot of money and now Callis is interested. Kevin Knight then steps up, demanding another title shot if they win at Forbidden Door after the PPV. MJF then agrees, but tells him there will be no rematch if/when he loses this one. Andrade then asks about his title shot and Don Callis gives his word that Andrade will get his title shot.

Swerve Strickland then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Brody King follows.

Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Semifinal Match: Swerve Strickland vs. Brody King

The match starts off with both men locking up and trading strikes immediately. Both men then take the fight to the outside. King then knocks Strickland to the floor before hitting a cannonball senton. King then gets back to his feet to continue the beatdown while taking Swerve to the barricade. King then props Strickland up and charges at him, but Prince Nana slows him down long enough for Strickland to recover and he gains control of the match as he sets King up on a chair for a Swerve Stomp. King is then sent crashing to the floor, with Strickland looking over at the damage he has done.

Back in the ring, King has regained control as he sets Strickland up on the turnbuckle. Nana then provides an assist and this allows Strickland to break free, looking for a powerbomb but King holds onto the ropes, so Strickland kicks him in the midsection instead. This then ends with Strickland taking King down to the mat. Strickland then heads to the corner for a House Call that King manages to narrowly evade and the fight spills to the outside once more, where King sends Strickland crashing into the barricade. We then see MJF watching on from backstage as King brings Strickland back into the ring, but he only gets a two count.

Strickland then fights to his feet for a forearm strike, but is loopy as King fights back. Both men then get to trading strikes now, with Strickland being sent to the ropes with a chop by King. Strickland then gets back into it now, hitting a few more shots before looking for a House Call but King lays him out with a lariat instead. Strickland then slowly gets to his feet, but King stays on top of him with a sleeper hold. Strickland then backpedals, sending King into the exposed turnbuckle to break free and the impact on King’s head has him busted open. Strickland then goes for a House Call, but King is seemingly unfazed until Strickland follows it up with a House Call from the top rope. Strickland then goes for a cover, but King narrowly kicks out.

Strickland then looks for a vertebreaker, but King breaks out of it before hitting a Death Valley Driver sending Strickland into the corner. He then looks for a cannonball before Nana hops on the apron to stop him, only to get dropped to the floor with a sleeper hold. King then charges at Strickland for a cannonball in the corner, but only gets a two count. King then goes for a ganzo bomb but is shoved toward the referee, allowing Strickland to sneak a shot in before hoisting King up for a vertebreaker to pick up the win and advance.

The winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Semifinal Match, Swerve Strickland!

After the match, we get an updated bracket reminding us that Swerve Strickland now faces Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door in the finals and we get a replay of the finish. Strickland and Nana then celebrate from the stage as the show comes to a close.
