Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz then welcomes us to the show and we see a training session with The Death Riders. Will Ospreay is repeatedly throwing punches and burning himself out. Jon Moxley then makes everyone disperse for their mission tonight. Moxley then stays with Ospreay and tells Ospreay that people make simple things complicated. Moxley then tells Ospreay most of the work is done. Moxley then tells Ospreay he has earned this opportunity. Moxley then says Ospreay will have to make hard decisions in his career, but this isn’t a hard decision. Moxley then urges Ospreay to pull the trigger, no matter who the target is. Ospreay then continues striking.

Adam Copeland’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night. Christian Cage then makes his way down to the ring next and The Death Riders follow.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Cage & Cope (Christian Cage and “The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland) (c) vs. The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia)

The winners and still the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Cage & Cope (Christian Cage and “The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland)!

After the match, David Finlay, Clark Connors and Claudio Castagnoli attack Cage and Copeland. The Bang Bang Gang (without Jay White) then runs out to bring the fight to The Dogs and The Death Riders, but Finlay looks to use his shillelagh. White then appears and grabs the shillelagh from him and while Cage gets in White’s face, Copeland and The Bang Bang Gang get things calmed down.

We then head to the back, where we see Renee Paquette catch up with Andrade El Ídolo. Andrade reveals he has MJF’s Dynamite Diamond Ring that he came into possession thanks to some help from his good friend Will Ospreay.

We then see that The Conglomeration is confronted by The Demand and Ricochet challenges them. Ricochet says The Demand won’t touch them, but someone else would and that was the cue for Lethal Swirl, who launched an attack. Ricochet then teases bringing them into The Demand.

Jake Doyle then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Andrade El Ídolo follows.

Singles Match (If Andrade wins, then he earns an AEW National Title shot): Andrade El Ídolo vs. Don Callis Family’s Jake Doyle

The match starts off with both men locking up. Doyle then sends Andrade crashing out of the ring through the middle rope. He then follows it up with a splash to Andrade in the corner back inside the ring and sends him into the opposite corner, but Andrade hits Doyle with a hurricanrana and nails him with a kick to his face. He then hits a second hurricanrana to Doyle on the outside off the ring apron and takes a selfie with a woman in the crowd. Andrade and Doyle then get back in the ring and Andrade climbs to the top rope. Doyle then uses the rope to trip up Andrade, but Andrade delivers some chops on Doyle and Doyle responds by chokeslamming Andrade into the ring apron spine first.

The winner of the Singles Match, Andrade El Ídolo!

After the match, Mark Davis confronts Andrade but backs down when Andrade slides on the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

We then get a video package looking at Kenny Omega’s big AEW World Championship win.

Tony Schiavone is now in the ring and he introduces new AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. Omega then makes his way down to the ring. As Omega is about to speak, out come The Young Bucks and they are carrying something in a gold bag. They tell Omega that they have been best friends in this business for nearly 20 years. They then tell him that last week they saw him do it all by himself. They then tell him that they are proud of him and he proved that he is still the best professional wrestler on the planet, but him wearing that particular belt peeves them and they brought him something.

They then take out the AEW World Title belt and Omega takes out the BBB title belt. Omega then says unbelievable and it has been 1100 some days. Omega then says it has been so long that he wasn’t even sure if he would be able to hold the title ever again. Omega then says the difference maker was that his friends, his family and the fans believing in him. Omega then says if it wasn’t for them believing in him, he would have given up on himself a long time ago. Omega then says there is less than 50 days remaining until Wembley stadium and as much as he would like to say that he is ready, there is still a lot of work to do. Omega then says in 50 days, they will see the best version of Kenny Omega that they ever saw.

Will Ospreay’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Ospreay then asks The Young Bucks if he can have a one on one conversation with Omega. The Young Bucks then leave the ring. Ospreay then asks the fans if he can speak on their behalf. He then says it is really good to see Kenny Omega as the AEW World Champion again. He then says at one point he thought Omega had given up on himself. He then says Omega needed to believe in him and he needed to believe that he can still be Kenny Omega. He then says Omega never gave up and he saw him get hit with the belt. Ospreay then says he thought Omega was going to lose, but Omega kicked out. He then says Omega is back, one of the greatest to ever do it is back. He then says for 10 years Omega was his hero, he got to watch him wrestle and he has inspired him to be the best wrestler he can ever be and he thanks Omega for that.

Ospreay then tells him that he is not happy with being second but they are going to keep it going, every week and they will be out there showing everyone why they are in the position that they are in. He then says this is a dream come true. They are about to shake hands, but out comes Kevin Knight. He then tells Ospreay that he and Omega have to talk about something, champion to champion. Omega then says Ospreay can stay. Knight then tells Omega congratulations, but The Jet still has a world title shot courtesy of MJF. He then says The Jet is ready to become jet two belts. He then challenges Omega to a match at Redemption for the AEW World Title. Omega then tells Knight that MJF made a promise to Knight. He then asks him why he would give him a title match if it was MJF that promised one.

He then says they are not going to do that, but maybe he will give him a shot because he is a nice guy and because the first day he saw Knight, he saw something special, he saw someone that had it, that undeniable factor that only a superstar possesses, someone that looks the part, someone faster than anyone else, someone that can jump higher than anyone else and someone that was hungry. He then says that’s where it ended because he went and aligned himself with Don Callis. He then says he would be a hypocrite if he told everyone that he didn’t believe in him too. He then says it was because of Don Callis that he held the title for the first time. He then says it was during COVID when they were all told to stay indoors and when no one showed up to the party, he thought it was because no one could, but the reality is no one believe in that guy and no one was proud of that guy.

He then says that was the day where his worth and his self worth fell right down the toilet. He then tells Knight that he does not need a guy like Don. He then tells Knight when he says he believes in him, he is saying the same words that Speedball believes, the same things that Will Ospreay believes and when he says he doesn’t have to be Don’s lap dog. He then says he can be the champion without Callis. He then says one thing that MJF was not was a fraud. He then says the only fraud he is looking at is Knight because he knows that Knight knows he is not being himself. He then says if it will be them at Redemption, he wants it to be the Jet at Redemption, not Don’s little b***h. Knight then says Omega made a good point when he said that he came all the way by himself. He then says there is no goodness in his heart, only greatness. He then hits Omega with the microphone. Ospreay then goes for a hidden blade, but Knight leaves the ring. Darby Allin then runs in and he hits Knight from behind. Several more members of The Don Callis Family then run out to the ring, but The Death Riders get into the ring to back up Ospreay.

Jack Perry then cuts a promo and says he is here to talk about his new contract signing. Perry says he put pen to paper to start chapter two of his time in AEW. Perry then says he was always on the verge of breaking through to the next level and that is what chapter two is all about. Perry then says he wants a match on Collision this Saturday and he wants to give an opportunity to someone who is where he was in chapter one.

Brody King and Bandido then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto are already waiting inside.

The winners of the Tag Team Match, Brodido (Brody King and ROH World Champion Bandido)!

We then see Renee Paquette backstage and she interviews Kyle Fletcher, who is with Don Callis. Fletcher says he is ready for Komander, but King and Bandido walk through the shot. Bandido then puts one of his Wanted posted on Fletcher’s chest before they walk away.

Komander then flies off the ropes to level Fletcher. He then hits a hurricanrana to send Fletcher crashing into the commentary desk off the top rope and sends him back in the ring. He then hits Fletcher with a Canadian Destroyer off the top rope and goes for a pin. Fletcher then kicks out and hits Komander with a Brainbuster for the win.

After the match, Fletcher looks to rip off Komander’s mask until Konosuke Takeshita’s music hits and he runs out to take the fight to Fletcher. Takeshita then nails Fletcher with a right hand and grabs the International Championship belt, but Kazuchika Okada surprises Takeshita with a Rain Maker. Okada then picks up the International Championship and doesn’t appear to want to hand it back to Fletcher, but Brody King and Bandido reemerge to take out Okada and Fletcher as they come to Takeshita’s aid.

Renee Paquette then interviews Kenny Omega in the back and as he is about to speak, in comes Darby Allin. He tells Omega that Knight won’t change overnight but next week, he will take the TNT Title. Allin then walks away and in comes Jon Moxley. He tells Omega that Allin is right and he walks away.

Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor then make their way out and they talk about England losing the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup.

Chris Jericho then cuts a promo and says Tommaso Ciampa left him bloodied and battered, but he loved it. He then offers to run it back at Redemption. Jericho then tells Ciampa to bring the pain, while he brings the Painmaker.

Brian Cage then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Darby Allin follows.

Singles Match: Don Callis Family’s “The Machine” Brian Cage vs. Darby Allin

The match starts off with both men locking up. Cage then throws Darby to the outside of the ring and into the barricade. He then lifts Darby Allin onto the ring ramp and into the ring. Cage then stands on the second rope and he lifts Darby Allin up. He then suplexes Darby Allin onto the ring ramp. Allin then hits a drop kick onto Cage on the outside of the ring. Allin then hits a Coffin Drop onto Cage. He then sends Cage back into the ring. Allin then climbs the top rope, but Cage hits several right hands. Cage then gets on the second rope, but Allin bites him.

Allin then gets a sunset flip cover, but Cage kicks out. Both men then roll to the outside of the ring and Cage hits a clothesline. He then lifts Allin up and sends him into the ring post. Cage then climbs the ring steps and grabs Allin, but Allin takes his belt off and trips Cage with it. Allin then climbs the top rope and hits a Coffin Drop onto Cage on the ring steps. Cage then gets back in the ring, but Allin hits two Coffin Drops. He then goes for a cover and gets the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, Darby Allin!
