AEW Dynamite ended with chaos on Sept. 16 as Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley’s growing tension boiled over just 10 days before their AEW World Championship match at All Out. What followed left Ospreay with a clear warning about what awaits him in Chicago.
Before the main event, Moxley addressed Ospreay alongside Death Riders teammates Gabe Kidd and PAC. While Moxley praised the champion’s difficult journey and what he accomplished at All In, his message soon became more personal.
“Champ Will Ospreay has targeted me. That’s a bold move, unexpected, and I feel … some type of way about it,” Moxley said. He added that Ospreay’s victory could “inspire kids for generations,” but stressed that the championship itself wasn’t the real story.

Jon Moxley also reminded Ospreay that he never wanted him to follow in his footsteps. “Will, I wanted you to lead,” he said, before delivering a final warning: “At All Out, when you look across the ring and you see me, you know whatever happens is your responsibility.”
The tension carried directly into the six-man main event, with Ospreay, Andrade El Ídolo and Francesco Akira representing United Empire against Moxley, Kidd and PAC.
The match eventually descended into a full-blown brawl. Moxley forced Akira to submit with the bulldog choke, then refused to release the hold and returned to it after the referee intervened.
When Andrade tried to help, The Dogs joined the fight. Moxley handed Kidd a chair as Akira became the target, but Ospreay rushed back in and cleared the ring with Hidden Blades.
The final scene saw Ospreay and Andrade standing together as Death Riders retreated through the crowd. With All Out approaching, Moxley has made his position clear — Ospreay’s next chapter comes with consequences.
