Fans react with Fulham reportedly in advanced talks with a replacement for Marco Silva…
@WhiteNoise1879: Not from me there isn’t. Disastrous appointment. Tim Ream to come back in 2027 to manage us back out of The Championship? #ffc
@CravenTheHunter: It just feels like such a failure in waiting doesn’t it. I hope he proves us all wrong. Support him and judge after 6 games
@WhiteNoise1879: Silva said this is going to be one of the most important summers. Key players leaving, lots of new players to bed in, a likely change in style, oldest side in the PL, adjusting to working with the Khans, language barrier, too many underperforming players last season etc etc. #ffc
@CravenTheHunter: To be fair all this is being discussed
@Terrytibbs19: Any manager is a risk. The fact everyone is writing him off before his even joined is crazy!
@ItsIbzFFC: This could be a masterpiece by the club hierarchy and I’m hoping it is.. Could Fulham have access to a few youngsters from Spain/Madrid who know making it in the Galácticos first team is impossible?? #FFC #FulhamFC
@FulhamTransfer: Piatarch, Palacios, Garcia, Martinez…. There are many. We have a few of our own though. LDF, Ridgeon, Ali Wahid, Amissah, Casey…
@JOGOBONlTO: Arbeloa, Alonso, Iraola, Arteta, Carrick, Lampard all managing in the Premier League at the same time is something I would’ve struggled to wrap my head around at the start of the decade
@K3vo321: Out all of the managers linked I’m liking this one the most 👌 point to prove he’s young and ambitious knows the premier league as player hopefully be a good fix for both parties
@TGFulham55: Arbeloa will be on a hiding to nothing @FulhamFC This appointment will either be a stroke of genius or a complete an utter disaster. Either way, looking forward to getting behind him and seeing huge upgrades on the pitch! Starting of course with a marquee forward!!
@ffcwadey: To be honest the Doom and Gloomers were out in force when we got Marco… as you say if it’s Arbeloa it could go either way… Defo a case of wait and see
@Lidds84: I think he’ll be gone around November. That’s what worries me.
@Happy_Spurs: That’s a big risk from Fulham.
@AF1308_: Abel would’ve been best case scenario but Arbeloa will be a good appointment I’m convinced
@matsbjornstad: It looks increasingly likely that Álvaro Arbeloa will be Fulham’s next head coach. I’m not necessarily negative about the appointment, but I struggle to see what he’s shown that makes him ready for a PL job. A big gamble, but perhaps Fulham is the ideal place to take that step.
