Chelsea fans get agitated by lack of concrete transfer news already

Chelsea fans hungry for transfer action are already getting agitated by a perceived lack of activity at Stamford Bridge.

Football fans are nothing if not impatient, and that’s especially true after a bad season.

They want to see changes, especially in the playing staff. If they don’t start to at least hear concrete rumours pretty fast, they get edgy.

That’s just what’s going on with Chelsea right now. One Chelsea Twitter influencer has today put up a long explainer going into detail on why he’s not worried about what he calls a “delay.”

The transfer window isn’t even open yet!

Chelsea will be busy this summer, but mainly in sales. In terms of players coming in, it’s easy to forget we already have Emmanuel Emegha, Geovany Quenda and possibly even Valentin Barco already secured. In terms of first team additions, we will probably only see two or three players beyond that – so let’s not start getting too worried about delays until we’re in July please.

Once we get some sales secured, we can get serious about signings.

    In other news…

Julian Alvarez has been called a “perfect” attacker for Chelsea to sign this summer, which makes sense. But we just can’t compete for players on that level right now.

Chelsea and Man City are ready to lock horns in a legal battle over Enzo Maresca, who walked out on the Blues in January and now wants to take over from Pep Guardiola.
