After a history making Bound For Glory this past weekend, we return with TNA Impact as the landscape of the Knockouts division has changed significantly.
We are set for a six Knockouts tag-team match tonight as the new TNA Knockouts World Champion, Indi Hartwell, teams up with Gabby Forza and Harley Hudson to take on Xia Brookside and the new TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Serrano, now known as “APEX.”
Before we get on with the match, Hudson runs into The Righteous and thanks them for having her back at Bound For Glory. She wishes them luck, but The Righteous tells her to stay away if she knows what’s good for her.
Meanwhile, Brookside is seething at the fact that the show isn’t about her and about the Hardys’ 35th anniversary. She wants a world title opportunity, but Serrano says she had served Hartwell on a platter for her and that Brookside ultimately dropped the ball.
As the match starts, Brookside meets with Hartwell and tags out immediately to Baszler. Hartwell finds herself at the mercy of Baszler and Serrano, as Brookside tries to take advantage of their work.
Hartwell gets a hot tag out to Forza, and takes out both Baszler and Serrano with a double suplex. She tags out to Hudson and launches her into Baszler. Serrano fights back and lands a crossbody out of the ring onto Forza and Hartwell. Unfortunately for Hudson, she gets caught in between Baszler and Serrano. Hudson eats a Killshot and gets choked out by Baszler, while Brookside prevents Hartwell from breaking it up.
Also tonight, the TNA Knockouts TV Champion, M By Elegance, talks about losing the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound For Glory. She blames Heather By Elegance for messing up her opportunity, but Heather reminds M that she eliminated her. M calls it an accident, but says she is tired of cleaning everyone’s mistakes.
And finally, we get a little glimpse of Allie and Rosemary.
