All Completed West Ham Transfers in 2026/27

West Ham United entered the Championship this season looking to bounce back after a hugely disappointing campaign, with big-money departures headlining a summer shaped far more by outgoings than incomings.

Mateus Fernandes’ sale alone represented a huge profit on what the Hammers paid for him just a few years ago, funding what was a busy window as the club looked to reinvest for Nuno Espírito Santo.

New West Ham Signings 2026/27

Keiber Lamadrid joined from Venezuelan side Deportivo La Guaira for around £1m, a low-cost addition to the wide areas, while Joël Veltman joined to provide experience in defence.

The former Brighton star, who has bags of Premier League and European experience, as well as 28 caps for the Dutch national side, said: “We know that West Ham need to be in the Premier League, and for sure that is our goal for the season.”

The Irons bolstered their forward line with the addition of Manor Solomon from Tottenham Hotspur and then broke the Championship transfer record to welcome midfielder Arne Engels to the London Stadium, before also welcoming Joel Piroe on loan from Leeds United.

Edvin Austbo also arrived, capping off a productive summer.

Ezra Mayers, George Earthy and Finlay Herrick were all been promoted into the first-team fold from West Ham’s U21 side.

West Ham Departures 2026/27

Mateus Fernandes completed a huge £85m move to Tottenham, a substantial profit on the £42m West Ham paid Southampton for him back in 2022 and comfortably the club’s second-biggest sale of all time behind only Declan Rice.

Crysencio Summerville also departed for big money while Lucas Paqueta returned to Brazil, as the Irons prepared to rebuild around captain Jarrod Bowen in the second tier.

Callum Marshall dropped down to League One with Luton Town, while Callum Wilson joined Brentford on a free transfer alongside El Hadji Malick Diouf for a hefty £40m. Aaron Wan-Bissaka also rejoined the Premier League, moving to Aston Villa on loan.

Adama Traore was released as a free agent before joining Deportivo La Coruna and Lukasz Fabianski announced his retirement from playing.

Who is West Ham’s Record Signing?

West Ham’s record signing is Lucas Paqueta, who joined from Lyon in 2022 for a fee of £51m.

The Brazilian playmaker endured a slow start to life at the London Stadium but has since gone from strength to strength, and the Hammers made a decent chunk back when selling to Flamengo in summer 2026.

All in all, Paqueta scored 23 times and provided 15 assists in 139 games for the Hammers.

West Ham’s record sale remains Declan Rice, sold to Arsenal in 2023 for £105m.

Rice came through West Ham’s academy and made 245 appearances, even captaining the club to Europa Conference League glory in 2023 before his big move across London, where he has since become a Premier League winner and one of the first names on England’s team sheet at international level.
