    Andy Woodman doesn’t hold back as he fumes at Bromley’s 7-2 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon.

    Goals from Callum Slattery, Mason Burstow and Jamal Lowe had the Owls 3-0 up by half time, then Louie Barry netted two, Lowe got another and Gabriel Otegbayo made it seven.

    Victor Adeboyejo got one back for Bromley and Otegbayo also scored an own goal late on.

    It’s the first time Sheffield Wednesday have hit seven since they did so against Burnley back in 2003.

    Bromley’ Andy Woodman said: “Disasters, from start to finish. We didn’t get a pass right, we didn’t make a tackle, we didn’t make any good decisions. We just, everything was wrong.

    “And regardless of Sheffield Wednesday, how good people would say they were, I thought we were so far off it all over the pitch.

    “And everyone I can imagine, i mean, it was just so bad. So some real thinking for me, and maybe the start has blown us away a little bit, I don’t know, but that’s an excuse to that.

    On the goals coming from mistakes: “They are, they’re all just bad decisions you know, horrific decisions, there was just, I’m not shellshocked, just can’t put my finger on one particular thing, that was just so bad.

    ‘The only bright thing in the day is our fans, and celebrate da couple of goals, but bless their hearts, I mean, they were brilliant, but yeah it was really a poor performance all over the place.

    “we took a team to Newcastle, we didn’t get beat seven, and they’re in the premiership, we brought a team here today and we were just so poor, and so weak, and so meek and so not brave on the ball, and not you know, that everything that we’ve been, we was the opposite today.

    “I mean, he must be buzzing, the manager, cause I mean, we made it so easy for them all over the pitch.”

    Sheffield Wednesday’s Henrik Pedersen said: “Yeah, it was a very great day and the good day started with all the basic things in football, that we should out-fight them for the second ball, for all the long balls, for all the basic things in football and then we should put our strength on the pitch and I think the boys did it really well.”

    “Our first half was defensively very, very strong and offensively even stronger and we scored three goals and we create more than this and we don’t give something away and then second half we start with a new big hunger because we want to have goal number four and five and six and there was a big hunger, top mentality and then how we finalised the game was not good enough, how we give two easy goals away and this is not who we want to be but the first 70-75 minutes was a strong performance.”
