The curtains came down on the Hundred 2026 with Trent Rockets clinching its maiden title after an eight-wicket win over Sunrisers Leeds at Lord’s on Sunday.
A total of four Indians took part in the sixth edition of the 100-ball competition- Deepti Sharma (Sunrisers Leeds), Smriti Mandhana (Manchester Super Giants), Richa Ghosh (Manchester Super Giants), and Jemimah Rodrigues (Southern Brave).
Deepti Sharma
Not only did Deepti end the competition as the second highest wicket-taker (13 wickets in ten matches at an average of 13.53), she was also the only Indian to play in the final.

Arguably the best Indian performer at the Hundred by a distance. Not only did Deepti end the competition as the second highest wicket-taker (13 wickets in ten matches at an average of 13.53), she was also the only Indian to play in the final.
In terms of personal milestones, it was Deepti’s best Hundred campaign to date, an improvement from 2024 (12 wickets in nine games) and 2021 (ten wickets). The 28-year-old also chipped in with 69 runs in four batting innings, with a highest score of 28 not out.

However, Deepti did not get the grand ending she would have hoped for as her side lost to Trent Rockets by eight wickets in the final.
Smriti Mandhana
In terms of numbers it was her second best season in her Hundred career.

The southpaw had a fruitful campaign with the bat. Smriti amassed 232 runs from seven matches with a highest score of 88 not out and average of 38.66.
In terms of numbers it was her second best season in her Hundred career, and the third time she has crossed the 200-run mark.
The 30-year-old enjoyed her best season in 2023 for Southern Brave, when she amassed 238 runs in nine matches with two half-centuries.
Jemimah Rodrigues
The 25-year-old played just the six games in the 2026 edition, scoring 143 runs at an average of 35.75 and a strike rate of 131.19.

Jemimah’s Hundred campaign was cut-short after she sustained a hamstring injury which ruled her out of the tournament, and subsequently the upcoming Asian Games as well as the Asia Cup.
The 25-year-old played just the six games in the 2026 edition, scoring 143 runs at an average of 35.75 and a strike rate of 131.19.
The middle-order mainstay played handy knocks for Southern Brave before picking up the injury on August 3 against Welsh Fire.
Richa Ghosh
The 22-year-old was used as a floater by the Super Giants this season, batting at different positions albeit without yielding much success.

Remove her maiden Hundred half-century and Richa had a pretty ordinary season. The wicket-keeper managed to amass just 114 runs from seven matches at an average of 19.00.

Richa batted at three when she scored the fifty (54 off 34 balls) against Southern Brave but struggled to make an impact while batting lower down the order.
However, with that being said, Richa still had her best season in terms of runs, and she will be hoping for a much improved show when the competition returns next year.
