Market specials for the upcoming Scottish Premiership season have been revealed by the league sponsors William Hill.
It’s a 3/1 chance for the season to be decided on the final day, as was the case last season, when Celtic conquered Hearts to claim their fifth successive title.
Celtic are odds-on at 5/6 to defend their crown with Rangers (13/10) and Hearts (13/2) following Martin O’Neill’s men in the betting.
- Celtic – 5/6
- Rangers – 13/10
- Hearts – 13/2
- Kasper Hogh – 5/2
- Lawrence Shankland – 4/1
- Camilo Duran – 6/1
- Youssef Chermiti – 8/1
Celtic’s £11million club record signing Kasper Hogh is the 5/2 favourite for the Golden Boot, with Rangers’ new recruit Lawrence Shankland 4/1 for the award.
The league sponsor has also unveiled a £25,000 prize fund for a new Final One Standing free-to-play game ahead of the new Scottish season.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “We’re proud to be continuing our sponsorship of the William Hill Premiership again this season and it is set to be another exciting campaign.
“We make last season’s champions Celtic the favourites to retain their title at 5/6, with Rangers (13/10) and Hearts (13/2) unsurprisingly making up the top three in the betting. A repeat of last season’s final day showdown is exactly what the neutrals want and we go 3/1 for it to go down to the wire again.
“Lawrence Shankland’s switch from Edinburgh to Glasgow was one of the summer’s key transfer headlines, and he is 4/1 to take the Golden Boot this season. Celtic made a couple of big attacking signings of their own, however, and Danish recruit Kasper Hogh tops the Golden Boot betting at 5/2.
“Our customers can enjoy a continuation of our Final One Standing promotion this season, with £25,000 up for grabs in our first free-to-play game for the Scottish top flight.”
