    Preston fans slam what they described to be ‘shocking’ ticket prices set for their side’s 26/27 Championship opener away at Bolton.

    The confirmation of it being £36 for an adult ticket price has been met with frustration, many saying twenty of plenty, someone mentioning that it is £6 more than any Premier League away supporter will pay all season

    Preston fans feeling priced out and disappointed at missing out on being unable to attend, with the prospect of having to watch it on TV instead. Some Bolton fans also pointing out that Preston may reciprocate with these prices in the return fixture later in the season.

    – STATEMENT ENDS –

    As mentioned, fans slam the ‘shocking’ ticket prices set for Preston’s 26/27 opener away at Bolton…

    @_ScottJBowers: Can’t defend that at all, £36 is shocking

    @BwfcGoals: £36 is absolutely disgraceful pricing. Can’t really complain if/when we get offered the same at their place

    @Ben_Armstrong10: £36 is fucking shocking, 20s plenty #bwfc

    @louise_pne: Wow they are ripping us off there!

    @dom_33: £36 😆😆😆😆 fucking jokers

    @WarraDyl: There has to be away ticket price caps introduced into the EFL man. How is right that it costs no more than £30 to go away to Old Trafford or Anfield, but I have to pay £36 to go to the “Toughsheet Community Stadium”.

    @olihargreavess: 36 quid for any championship game is absurd. Would hope that we start to reciprocate our ticket prices to these sides when they come to Deepdale.

    @davidpne: That pricing is disgraceful 🤬 Will prevent a lot of fans from travelling.

    @pnefc33: Seriously need to start the £20 is plenty initiative across the whole league. Anything over £25 is quite frankly ridiculous and £36 is just taking the royal piss. Something the efl need to look at and Preston North End included. #pnefc #eflchampionship

    @mattyg_97: Well, we can’t grumble when we get slapped with the same prices or worse in the return game. Terrible pricing

    @A_J_bwfc: £36 is a joke wow

    @ScottMolyneux93: Absolutely scandalous from the club. This will end up effecting our fans as clubs will mirror it in the reverse fixture THIRTY SIX ENGLISH POUNDS 💀 #bwfc

    @pneonline: £6 more than any Premier League away supporter will pay all season. We will continue to push the @WeAreTheFSA to campaign for capped championship pricing for away fans. Sadly the @EFL clubs won’t vote for it. #pnefc

    @CiaranBWFC2002: These prices will have been agreed in accordance with both clubs, they’ll charge us £36 as well. Rank pricing but considering Coventry were charging £45 last season and Blackburn looking to install a Cat A+ ticket at that price this won’t be one of the dearer ones 👍

    Shaun Thompson: They can get to absolute fuck at those prices, what the fuck is going on.

    Ken Simpson: £36 & £10 for parking? That’s a no from me.

    Callum Williams: What the fuck are those prices

    Andrew Riley: Absolute piss take, £36 adult £20 for my 15 year old daughter

    Martin James Clark: Wow the price think will be tv for me
