The July 13 episode of Raw will have a match between IYO SKY and Roxanne Perez.
On last week’s Raw, SKY came to the aide of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca. Ruca was in a title defense against Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez when, to no surprise, Perez and the Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan came out to assist Rodriguez and try to steel not only a win, but the Women’s IC Title fort he Judgment Day.
Although Ruca most likely could have powered through, it was SKY who appeared and took out two-thirds of Judgment Day and distracted Rodriguez enough to allow the champion to hit a Sol Snatcher to retain.
Since winning Queen of the Ring, SKY is ready to face Morgan at SummerSlam. She’ll have to continue her momentum by defeating Perez tonight.
Although not mentioned for the rundown of tonight’s Raw, last week it was mentioned by Bayley that she and Lyra Valkyria will finally have a face-to-face. Since Valkyria turned on Bayley a few weeks ago, they have both had vignettes but have yet to meet on screen. What will happen when the former tag team partners do?
