Harry Kane is being priced at 3/1 to receive a Knighthood before 2030 after lifting the Ballon d’Or, with William Hill also offering odds of 20/1 for the England captain to receive the honour in 2027.
Kane, who already holds an MBE, is 4/6 to be promoted to an OBE or CBE in the 2027 New Year’s Honours List.
There could be further recognition for the England striker before the end of the year, with Kane now the 8/11 favourite to win BBC Sports Personality of the Year. He was previously priced at 7/4 and behind Amy Hunt, who is now 13/8 following Kane’s Ballon d’Or success.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps said: “Harry Kane wrote himself into the history books last night as he became just the fifth Englishman to win the Ballon d’Or.
“Kane’s services to football have already seen him be awarded an MBE and we go 3/1 for the England captain to be knighted before 2030, while it’s 20/1 that he receives the honour as soon as 2027.
“It looks likely his MBE status will be upped to either OBE or CBE in the New Year’s Honours List, with the chance of that happening priced at 4/6.
“It is a similar price about him to land the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award in December, with his odds shortening to 8/11 of the back of last night’s success, displacing long-time favourite Amy Hunt who is now 13/8.”
