WWE legend The Boogeyman recently reflected on his memorable feud with Booker T and revealed that Vince McMahon gave them plenty of creative freedom while working together.

Back in 2006, The Boogeyman feuded with Booker T and Queen Sharmell in one of WWE’s most memorable storylines of that era. The rivalry eventually led to a WrestleMania 22 match, where The Boogeyman defeated Booker T on the grand stage.

Speaking on Going Ringside, The Boogeyman was asked about his favorite people to work with during his WWE career. He named Booker T and praised his creativity and said the two often had fun filming their backstage segments.

According to The Boogeyman, Vince McMahon allowed them to go beyond the scripted lines and improvise during segments. He said, “Oh, I loved everything, just his animation, you know, he was so creative.”

“In fact, when we would have segments there that would, a lot of people would have lines, but Vince gave us creative license to go in there and just go feel it, you know, and each take would be something different because we would, we would be laughing so much, you know. It was, it’s like, you know, it’s like work. When you’re having fun, it’s not work, you know. Just like what you do.”
