Brown, the WBC USA Silver super welterweight champion, and the unbeaten southpaw Vieira engaged in a competitive fight that saw contrasting styles throughout. Vieira consistently pressed the action and forced the pace, while Brown looked to capitalize with counters and sharp combinations.

Vieira enjoyed success early by outworking Brown and keeping him on the defensive. Brown responded in the middle rounds, finding openings with counters as the bout settled into a tactical battle between aggression and precision.

The fight remained close entering the final rounds. Vieira continued applying pressure and appeared to finish strongly, while Brown landed enough effective counters to keep the contest in doubt.

After eight rounds, the judges returned scorecards of 77-75 for Brown, 80-72 for Vieira, and 76-76, resulting in a split draw.

In the co-feature, unbeaten lightweight Shea “Showtime” Willcox improved to 8-0 with a dominant six-round unanimous decision over Salvatore Pugliares.

Willcox controlled the action from the opening bell and scored three knockdowns, including two in the fourth round. Pugliares spent much of the fight moving around the ring in an attempt to avoid exchanges, but Willcox remained patient and consistently landed the cleaner punches. All three judges scored the bout 60-51.

Former heavyweight contender Cassius Chaney returned to the win column with a third-round stoppage of Harold Roy.

After controlling the opening two rounds, Chaney hurt Roy with a right uppercut midway through the third and scored a knockdown. Moments later, a left uppercut sent Roy down again, prompting the referee to wave off the contest.

Among the local prospects in action, Giovanni Daley remained unbeaten with a six-round unanimous decision over Stephen Davis, while Bobby Laing improved to 4-0 after scoring a fourth-round knockdown on his way to a unanimous decision victory over Jayson Colon.

Peter Campbell needed less than one round to stop Zachary Calmus, dropping him twice before the referee halted the bout. Michael McIntosh won his professional debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Steven Farrar.

Elsewhere, Robinson Perez stopped Ayo Martins in the opening round of their heavyweight bout, and Billy Cosgrove earned a unanimous decision victory over Nicholas Locantore in his professional debut.
