Bath flanker Ted Hill says he feels his performances are “turning a corner” as the business end of the Prem season approaches.

Speaking before Friday night’s clash with Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate, Hill believes he has put an injury-plagued start to the campaign behind him.

“I think I am starting to build some better form which is good,” the 27-year-old told BBC Radio Somerset.

“It’s not been quite where I wanted it in the earlier part of the season but I have kept training, kept working hard and it’s looking like it’s turning the corner.

“Hopefully my performances can keep improving and improving.”

The defending champions are preparing for a third straight post-season campaign, with two regular Prem games remaining before the play-offs begin.

So far this season, Hill has played 982 minutes, scoring six tries.

“I want to be involved every week and it’s obviously not always possible because we’ve got an amazing squad and everyone deserves to play,” he said.

“But being selfish I want to play every week, these games [in the final few weeks of the season] are the ones you want to be involved in.

“You want to keep improving so that when your best is required you can do that.”
