Bayley is a name that has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Shawn Michaels in NXT.
To catch everyone up, Michaels will be replacing Burce Pritchard’s spot as WWE’s Executive Director according to PWInsider. “We are told that this succession plan has been in place for some time and that Michaels will start to prepare for the Prichard role in the months ahead.”
Per Wrestling Observer, AJ Styles will be getting his role as a most likely scenario. However, Bayley and CM Punk are also in talks to have input and help out with NXT.
“As of right now, it looks like Shawn Michaels replacing Bruce Prichard and AJ Styles getting his NXT role is the most likely scenario.
It is believed there will be other NXT office changes in 2027 as well. Depending on what she wants to do with her career, Bayley could very well end up involved. Punk may also have more input.
It is also believed the ID program will get ‘a fresh coat of paint’ in early 2027 as well.”
False Finish adds this could take place sooner rather than later.
