Strickland then says he wants that shot at Full Gear and stops from walking off to remind Page of when he hung him. He then says he wants the Trios Title match to be Texas Death but Page says no, knowing full well that isn’t about the Trios Titles. He then says he will honor the rematch, but not like that. Strickland just laughs at this before walking off.

After the match, Moxley takes his leave from the ring while David Finlay and Clark Connors make a beeline for Roderick Strong, beating him down until Moxley actually comes back in the ring to tell them to back off. They. then comply at first, but when Moxley turns his back they blindside him. Out comes the shillelagh, but Gabe Kidd comes running down to protect his Death Rider mate. This then leads to issues between Kidd and his fellow Dogs until The Conglomeration and Bang Bang Gang come to the ring as well.
This then all turns out to be a ruse as White takes out Orange Cassidy and we find out during the chaos that ensues that the Bang Bang Gang are now working with The Dogs. They then take out Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia, with Claudio Castagnoli fending them off until the numbers are too much. They then prop up Castagnoli as White hands Finlay the shillelagh and he blasts Castagnoli with it before they turn their attention to Moxley who spits in White’s face, leading to a Blade Runner on the Continental Champion. Wayne then says this means Jericho needs to come to the ring and apologize to him. Wayne then tells Jericho to come on and get his dumb ass down here. No sign of Jericho and Wayne says he should have known better than to think Jericho would show up and a blast of pyro interrupts him as Jericho finally arrives. The crowd then sings along to his theme as Jericho heads to the ring. Wayne then says he is surprised to see Jericho here, but he is glad he is. Jericho then says he has been thinking about all the ways he can apologize to Wayne. Jericho then starts to speak but Wayne interrupts, admitting he has been thinking about this since last week when the agreement was made and cuts him off again to talk about how his friends are tapped in to see it.
Wayne then tells Jericho to say sorry. This then leads to Jericho telling Wayne to please shut the hell up so he can apologize and recalls telling Wayne he told him he didn’t know what he didn’t know. Jericho then admits Wayne knew more than he thought he did and says Wayne has learned some lessons from him because if he hadn’t he wouldn’t have beaten Jericho. Jericho then says he would never have apologized to anyone at Wayne’s age. Jericho then officially apologizes to Wayne for underestimating him or understanding how good he is. Jericho then says Wayne will look back at this time to realize it was the turning point. Jericho then says he listened to guys who were older than he was when he was Wayne’s age.
