A new filing has been made on behalf of the alleged victim in the battery case against WWE Superstar Ludwig Kaiser (El Grande Americano).

Ludwig Kaiser Seeks Dismissal Under Florida’s Stand Your Ground Law
Ludwig Kaiser filed a motion on July 15 to dismiss the case under Florida’s Stand Your Ground law. His defense stated that he only pushed the alleged victim, Richard Reap, after he made hostile, racist remarks toward his girlfriend, Andrea Bazarte. This was in an elevator lobby and aggressively advanced toward him in a threatening manner. Kaiser argued he used only necessary force to protect himself and his girlfriend from an imminent attack and immediately left the area without retaliating further.
A hearing is scheduled for Ludwig Kaiser’s dismissal motion on Monday, October 19, 2026. Before the hearing, Bruce A. Mount Jr., attorney for the alleged victim Richard Reap, filed a “notice of appearance” to serve as the plaintiff’s counsel.
Kaiser’s legal team filed a motion on June 16, requesting the court to authorize a subpoena for surveillance footage from the Paramount on Lake Eola apartment complex, where the alleged battery incident took place. It was unopposed by the state. The Judge issued the subpoena on June 25.
Amid his legal battle, Ludwig Kaiser is doing well in AAA as El Grande Americano. He is the brand’s reigning Mega Champion and has been holding the title for 26 days since dethroning Dominik Mysterio at TripleMania 34.
