Max Caster’s next stop after hitting free agency won’t be a mystery after all. The former AEW star has now confirmed he’ll be making his TNA debut this weekend at Bound for Glory, and he already has his first target in mind.
Earlier this month, Caster all but confirmed he had become a free agent after posting the definition of a “free agent” on social media, following reports that both he and Anthony Bowens had reached the end of their AEW contracts. While many fans wondered where he’d end up next, it looks like they didn’t have to wait long for an answer.
On October 9, Caster took to Twitter and dropped one of his trademark raps, revealing that he’s TNA bound and plans to answer Moose’s open challenge at Bound for Glory this week.
“Big Bad Platinum, coming to your town. Oh, you didn’t know? I’m TNA bound. Bound for the what? I’m a glory hound. Answering the call, putting Moose underground. Chain’s coming off, but deep down always wanted to be bound.”
Caster didn’t stop there, taking aim at Moose throughout the rap while questioning his status as the face of the company. He also referenced his own talents before wrapping things up with another shot at the former TNA World Champion.
“Got him so shook, Moose peeing with the seat down. Make your ace vanish like a sleight of the hand. If this the face of the franchise, it’s time to rebrand. You haven’t been the champ in about three years. I’m looking at this like, how’s he here?
“I’m ’05 Unbreakable, got the wrestling and the raps and the beats. Don’t forget turning Moose to moose knuckle. Platinum Max and TNA, that’s a cute couple. I got these brand-new boots on, and I want them to shine, because one is going in your ass and one’s crossing the line. I’m bound.”
If everything goes according to plan, Bound for Glory will mark Caster’s first appearance in TNA since becoming a free agent. It also gives him an immediate chance to make a statement against one of the company’s biggest names, so we’ll hav to see how he will fare in his debut.
