IT is the much awaited return of EFL Championship action this weekend following elongated international break activities.
A huge London derby gets the ball rolling and there are two other appetising fixtures offering local bragging rights. Accordingly, football betting odds provide fascinating reading.
Here is my analysis of Friday night’s clash between West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers, with a considered score prediction to assist your Championship betting on the action.
West Ham United v Queens Park Rangers Prediction
- Kick-off: 8pm
- Rankings: 2nd versus 6th
West Ham United Preview
Two points under pole position protecting six unbeaten games. There will be an emotional pre-match ceremony to remember former Hammers and QPR goalkeeper Ludek Miklosko who died last month aged 64.
Queens Park Rangers Preview
Sitting two points below Friday’s hosts. Rangers nurse four winless engagements whilst drawing the past three.
Score prediction: Extravagant 3-3.
