Jacob Fatu has been absent from WWE programming following a recent storyline angle on Monday Night RAW.
The Bloodline member was last seen on the September 28 episode of RAW. Here, Jaida Parker struck him with a car during a chaotic confrontation involving The Bloodline and Royce Keys’ 946 stable.
Fatu was subsequently absent from the October 5 episode of RAW in St. Louis, leaving fans wondering when the “Samoan Werewolf” would return to television.
A new report has now provided a possible explanation for his absence. It suggests his time away from WWE programming could be connected to an outside project involving the company.
Jacob Fatu Believed To Be Filming WWE Project
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, via F4WOnline, Fatu is believed to be filming a WWE project alongside Joe Hendry and Drew McIntyre. Meltzer said he believes the three WWE stars are involved in filming “some WWE show,” which would explain why WWE wrote Fatu out of television with the recent car accident angle.
The exact WWE project has not been confirmed. There is also no current update on when Fatu is expected to return to WWE programming.
Fatu’s absence comes as WWE continues its storyline involving The Bloodline and The 946. His cousins Jimmy and Jey Uso are scheduled to team with Solo Sikoa against Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price on next week’s RAW.
Meanwhile, Hendry appeared on the October 5 episode of RAW despite the reported filming commitments. The former NXT Champion performed another Funko Pop-related song aimed at JD McDonagh.
