Stephanie McMahon has opened up about what comes next after reaching a major milestone in her life. The WWE Hall of Famer turned 50 on September 24 and used a special episode of her podcast to reflect on her career, family, and future goals.
McMahon has held several prominent roles in WWE, including serving as the company’s Chairman and CEO, before stepping away from her executive position in 2023.
While she continues to make occasional appearances, her latest comments offer an interesting look at where WWE fits into her plans.
Stephanie McMahon reveals her future goals and WWE plans
Speaking on a special Q&A edition of What’s Your Story?, McMahon said she has already achieved the major personal and professional goals she once set for herself.
“So here’s the thing, like, I’ve done everything I ever wanted to do,” McMahon said. “So it’s such an exciting time in my life. I’m turning 50, and I’m like, ‘What am I going to do?’”
McMahon pointed to becoming a mother, leading WWE as Chairman and CEO, entering the WWE Hall of Fame, and even traveling to Ireland and going on safari among the experiences she has enjoyed.
She also discussed her podcast, which she hosts alongside her best friend and co-host Elyse Dudzinski. However, one commitment remains firmly at the center of her future.
“That work is forever ongoing. So I guess it’s not a dream, but I really want to continue my work in helping find a cure and help kids and families with pediatric cancer,” McMahon said. “That’s for sure a guiding light, north star, my personal commitment forever.”
Stephanie McMahon’s comments don’t point toward an immediate return to a full-time WWE executive role. However, her husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque and WWE President Nick Khan have previously left the door open for her to take on a larger behind-the-scenes role if she chooses.
For now, McMahon appears content balancing her podcast and philanthropic work while keeping her WWE connection intact. Her next chapter may not need another title — but the door to WWE remains open.
