Paddy’s tipster fancies Tuesday wins in the Carabao Cup for Newcastle and Crystal Palace.
Tuesday night is a busy one on the schedule as the Carabao Cup Third Round runs alongside the start of the Champions League.
Among the top-flight representatives at this stage of the fizzy pop cup, we have Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth all bidding to progress on to the next round.
So, ahead of these three key clashes, PP tipster Feargal Brennan has whipped up a tasty Acca.
Tuesday’s Acca Tips
7:45pm – Bournemouth v Lincoln
Both teams to score: Yes
7:45pm – Crystal Palace v Middlesbrough
Crystal Palace to win & both teams to score: Yes
8pm – Millwall v Newcastle
Newcastle to win
An Acca with these bets pays at approximately 7/1 with Paddy Power. CLICK HERE TO ADD IT TO YOUR BETSLIP.

Bournemouth v Lincoln
WHEN: Tuesday, 8th September 2026 @ 7:45pm
WHERE: Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth.
TV: Sky Sports+
both teams to score: Yes
It’s been a sluggish start to life in English football for new Bournemouth boss Marco Rose with two draws and a defeat from his opening three Premier League games of 2026/27.
All three of those clashes have seen the Cherries conceded a losing position, and in example of back-to-back draws with Everton and Newcastle, they’ve let in goals after 85 minutes to turn wins into ties.
Despite home advantage – and an ideal chance to end that winless run in the cup – I just can’t quite back them for victory. They’ve scored in all three matches, but Lincoln have also netted in six of their seven outings so far this season, so both teams to score is the call.
Crystal Palace v Middlesbrough
WHEN: Tuesday, 8th September 2026 @ 7:45pm
WHERE: Selhurst Park, London.
TV: Sky Sports+
Crystal Palace to win & both teams to score: Yes
Crystal Palace have also found it tough under new management this summer, after losing their opening two games of the Premier League season, before edging out a 3-2 win at Fulham over the weekend.
That should give them a burst of confidence going into this game, and despite not keeping a clean sheet so far under Pierre Sage, I can see them grabbing a first victory on home soil with the Frenchman in charge.
Boro have only lost one out of seven so far, and scored in all of them, so I’ll back the visitors for a goal in defeat.

Millwall v Newcastle
WHEN: Tuesday, 8th September 2026 @ 8pm
WHERE: The Den, London.
TV: Sky Sports Main Event
Newcastle to win
The Magpies flutter into the Lions Den in the 8pm game, but they’re unlikely to be flustered, with lots to like about Matthias Jaissle’s new-look team.
Unbeaten so far in four games under the German coach, his new signings have settled in quickly, as the squad looks to move forward in the post-Eddie Howe era.
Despite Millwall winning 4-0 at home to Bolton over the weekend, I fancy Newcastle to continue their special relationship with the Carabao Cup, having reached the quarters or better in each of the last four seasons.
