Sirena Linton’s career is still young. She had her starts documented for the world to see as she started her wrestling career in WWE under the LFG program/show. Linton was released from WWE after just a year in April.
Since departing from WWE, Linton has had a handful of matches on the indies. She recently appeared in TNA participating in a four-way match on Xplosion.
While speaking on The Hot Tag, Linton was asked where she sees herself in the next five years. She gives Chelsea Green her flowers and says she looks up to her.
In five years, where do I see myself?
I’ve been lucky enough to have literally the beginning of my entire journey documented — from my first day at the Performance Center to my first-ever wrestling match — and having people literally watch me grow up in wrestling.
Someone I think of right off the top of my head is Chelsea Green on Tough Enough. Seeing her grow and follow her journey and then eventually become a women’s champion is insane.
I feel that, in many ways, I look up to her because of her journey and everything she’s gone through to get to where she is. I’d love for my career to end up in the same place that she is.
I can say that with confidence because I do believe that, with the hard work, effort and preparation that I put in — and now with the training and everything I’m doing to build myself up — that it’s possible.
So, in five years, of course, I want to see myself there. I want to see myself wrestling the very best of the best at the highest level. Absolutely. I do think that’s very much possible.
Linton is determined to continue her career post WWE.
