Alan “Veneno” Chaves (22-1, 19 KOs) saw his perfect record demolished as Eridson Garcia (24-2, 14 KOs) put him down four times and captured the WBO Latino lightweight belt. Garcia cruised home by scores of 99-87, 99-88, and 98-88 after Chaves failed to find an answer for his counters and steady pressure.
Angel Antonio Contreras (18-11-2, 12 KOs) failed to answer the bell for round six, giving Super featherweight Zaquin Moses (8-0, 4 KOs) the stoppage. The Newark southpaw dictated all five rounds behind quick combinations and an active lead hand.
