‘Our club has lost its way” – The Foxes Trust react on owner King Power putting League One side Leicester City up for sale.
Earlier this week, The Athletic reported that a brochure had been sent out to potential buyers of the club detailing the assets on offer, including Belgian club OH Leuven.
An anonymous source told The Athletic that the Srivaddhanaprabha family, are seeking for $300m (£222m) , although looks as though it will be closer to $200m (£148m) following Leicester’s relegation to the third tier, plus heavy losses of late.

A post on their social media read: “The Foxes Trust notes the recent media reports that King Power is placing the club and its assets on the market.
“Five years ago, our club was an established Premier League side with a strong squad, academy, reputation and facilities to its name, not to mention recent silverware. It was as good a platform as any club could wish for. Since then the alarming decline of our club, both on and off the pitch, has been disastrous.
“We remain grateful for the part that King Power played in past successes.
“However, our End of Season Survey was clear that supporters place the blame for the last few years squarely at the door of the current hierarchy. 75% of supporters who responded to the survey supported a change in ownership.
“Through our interactions with the club over the summer, the Trust’s concerns have only deepened. Progress and communication from the club have fallen well short of what is required and the manner in which some departments have been operating has caused further concern. At a time when unity and clarity were required, we as a Trust have instead experienced an unwillingness to change and a continued lack of transparency. We will be divulging more information regarding this in due course.
“The survey was equally clear that the current ownership and leadership team have, for some time, been failing to meet the values and standards our supporters expect, with little accountability.
“New ownership does not automatically solve these problems. If the club is to restore itself to where it belongs and rebuild its connection with the wider supporter base, it is essential that any prospective new owners align with these values and standards.
“Our club has lost its way. We welcome these media reports and hope they mark the beginning of a return to a club that we can all be proud of once more.”

@Bedfordfoxajb: Said it before and will again, appreciate all the work that goes in, but there is nothing back from the club. JR for example, nothing said about him this summer despite knowing numerous clubs will not work with LCFC anymore because of him. The quicker this lot leave the better
