William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews Sunday’s William Hill Premiership action between Kilmarnock and Celtic.

Our Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Celtic To Win (7/4), Kilmarnock 1-2 Celtic (13/2)

Rugby Park sets the stage on Sunday as Kilmarnock look to steady themselves after a shaky start, while champions Celtic arrive aiming to build on their opening‑day win and keep their title defence moving in the right direction

Now, let’s take a closer look at some William Hill Premiership odds and betting angles for Sunday’s fixture:

    Kilmarnock v Celtic – Sunday, 1.30pm

View all available markets at William Hill

    • Kilmarnock head into the weekend already feeling a bit of pressure after a couple of tough seasons, finishing ninth and then tenth, and spending most of last year looking over their shoulder. A 4-3 defeat to St Johnstone on the opening weekend hasn’t helped ease any nerves, and there’s a real concern that this campaign could follow a similar pattern.
    • That loss also means Killie are at risk of another slow start: if they fail to win here, it’ll be the 13th time in their last 16 top‑flight seasons that they’ve gone without a victory in either of their first two matches — not the kind of trend any club wants hanging over them.
    • Ending their poor run against Celtic is a huge ask. Killie have lost their last eight meetings with the champions in all competitions, their longest streak since a 16‑game run between 2003 and 2007. They’re 11/2 with William Hill to finally break that sequence and take all three points.

    • Celtic, meanwhile, lifted their 56th Scottish top‑flight title on the final day last season after a tense showdown with Hearts, and despite failing to win any of their four pre‑season friendlies, they got the job done when it mattered — beating Dundee 1-0 on Monday night to start their title defence in solid fashion.
    • The Hoops have now won eight straight Premiership matches since a 2-0 defeat at Dundee United in March. Their last longer winning run came under Brendan Rodgers between April and October 2024, when they put together 13 victories on the bounce.
    • With that momentum behind them and a dominant record in this fixture, Celtic will be confident of making it back‑to‑back wins to open the new campaign. William Hill have the champions as clear odds‑on favourites at 4/11 to take the points.

      12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
    8. The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
    9. The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
      1. For retail customers: £2,000
      2. For online customers: £10,000.
    10. There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
    11. In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
    12. In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
    13. Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
