WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has shared a new update on Brie Bella’s injury after SummerSlam 2026.
At SummerSlam, Nikki, Brie, and Paige lost their tag match. They were defeated by Fatal Influence on Night One. After the match, The Bella Twins shocked everyone badly. They turned heel and brutally attacked their partner Paige.
However, Brie appeared to suffer a shoulder injury during the match. She was later taken to a nearby hospital for scans.

WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, said no official diagnosis was available yet. He also hoped the injury wasn’t as serious. Later reports said Brie missed scheduled fan appearances afterward. Now, Nikki also revealed her sister was still being evaluated. That injury has now paused WWE’s plans for them.
Speaking with Busted Open Radio, Nikki shared the latest update. She said Brie is still dealing with significant pain currently. “She’s doing ok. She’s in a lot of pain. They’re still determining what’s going on and Brie will share that whenever (they have more information).”
Brie did eventually come out with the results of her diagnosis, and it doesn’t look good.
This marks another unfortunate setback for The Bella Twins together. Earlier this year, Nikki suffered a broken ankle herself. That injury reportedly changed WrestleMania 42 plans for them. Now Brie is sidelined just after Nikki’s own return.
