The July 29 episode of EVOLVE had an eight woman tag team match to main event the show.
On one side we had Gianna Capri, Sloane Jacobs, PN Vasa, and the Evolve Women’s Champion Nikkita Lyons. They took on the team of Thea Hail, Wren Sinclair, Skylar Rae, and Zena Sterling. Sterling was a last minute replacement for Women’s ID Champion Laynie Luck. Luck was attacked last week after she failed to defeat Lyons so she wasn’t medically cleared.
The final moments left Lyons and Hail in the ring. Sinclair took out Jacobs on the outside and the two battled to the back. Capri grabbed the Evolve Women’s Title belt and had bad intentions but Anya Rune stopped her. Hail delivered a baseball slide to Capri knocking her out. Lyons went for a pin but Hail kicked out and eventually locked in the Kimura. Lyons tapped out.
This certainly will earn Hail a future title opportunity.
